Llumarlite - Energy Saving Lighting

Scope

Llumarlite were commissioned to reduce energy consumption and improve lamp & luminaire maintenance, whilst adding to the visual environment.

Overview

• All switch start ( magnetic ) luminaires were replaced with High Frequency T5
• PIR detectors fitted to Back Of House areas, including customer toilets
• Harvesting daylight via dimmable control to maintain average Lux level
• Retail spaces were over-lit, these were redesigned to fall in line with current specification
• Low Voltage lamps replaced with LED
• All T12 luminaires removed and replaced with T5
• Metal halide to Atrium replaced with Dimmable Compact Fluorescent – linked to daylight

Savings

• Annual Savings of 25,170 Kwh
• Increased lamp life and reduced maintenance costs by 40%
• Improved colour rendering and colour appearance, enhancing the visual environment
• Additional benefits – Reduced HVAC load, compliance to latest regulations
• Dramatically improved visual environment to Back of House areas, whilst meeting latest design standards
• Retail Franchises retained their brand identity.
